The Writing Life: Kurt Vonnegut's chore list.

This is an incredibly evocative (and funny) portrait of a marriage: Kurt Vonnegut's chore list.

What goes neglected at your house when you're in the midst of a writing project?

I liked reading it until the last point where he revealed his views that household chores are the responsibility of the wife, not the responsibility of all the people living in the house. But I give him the benefit of the doubt because he was living in an area where it was differnt. For a different view you might wish to quote one day the most impressive author, at least for me, that was a client of your literary agency: Simone de Beauvoir.
Writing is just a part of my life, without neglecting other parts.

Nothing gets neglected except eating. I often skip meals because I forget to eat, and DH is on his own for cooking (or grabbing takeout) :)

But all the little things... dishes, cleaning, laundry, get done because they must.
